Introduction: The purpose of a Privacy Policy
EOW are aware that customers are concerned how their personal information is used. EOW have detailed their own privacy policy. By visiting EOW, you are accepting and consenting to our privacy policy.

Who controls your personal information?
Any personal information provided by customers or sellers to EOW is controlled primarily by EOW, at 72 the Street, Shalford, Guildford, Surrey GU4 8BU, United Kingdom.

What personal customer information does EOW collect?
The information we receive from customers helps us refine and personalise your shopping experience at EOW.
This information is used to:

• recommend merchandise and services to customers.

How do we use cookies?
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer's hard drive via your web browser. This allows our systems to recognise your browser and to provide features such as tailored greetings and even storage of items in your Shopping Basket between visits.

Does EOW share your information?
Customer data is an important part of our business and we would not sell it to third parties. EOW shares customer information as detailed below and with the subsidiaries which International Life Magazine Ltd controls. They are subject to this Privacy Notice and follow the same practices.

Affiliated Businesses not under our control
We work closely with affiliated businesses. Some of these businesses do operate stores at EOW or are sellers on EOW. In other cases, we run stores and provide services or sell products in conjunction with or on behalf of these businesses. We notify buyers when a third party is involved in their order fulfillment. We also share customer information that is related to your transactions with that third party.

Third Party Service Providers
We use other companies and individuals to perform key tasks on behalf of EOW.
For example:
• order fulfillment
• delivery of packages
• sending postal mail and e-mail
• updating customer lists

• marketing assistance
• search results and links
• processing credit card payments
• customer service

They do all need a degree of access to your personal information to perform their tasks. They are not permitted to use it for other purposes.

Promotionals
We often send offers to selected groups of EOW customers (securely) on behalf of other businesses. When doing so, we do not give that business your name and address details.

Business Transfers
We may choose to sell or buy stores, subsidiaries or businesses. In such sales and acquisitions, customer information is seen as a transferred business asset. Please note that customers retain all the their rights as described in any pre-existing Privacy Notice after such transactions. If EOW is acquired, then customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

Protection of EOW and others
We only divulge personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law:
• to enforce or apply our Conditions of Use
• on other agreements
• to protect the rights, property or safety of EOW
• to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others.

This includes the exchange of information with other businesses and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
This does not include using personally identifiable information from customers for commercial gain, by:

• renting it

Your consent
Other than explained above, we will notify you when information about you might go to third parties. This will give you opportunity to choose not to share the information. If we transfer personal information to countries outside of the European Economic Area in the course of sharing information as explained above, we will obviously adhere to this Privacy Notice and act in accordance with the UK's Data Protection Act.

Are my details secure?
•We do not see or store any of your credit card numbers as we use Paypal for all financial transactions.
•This means we do not need to use SSL so our site is faster and no financial information can be removed from it as Paypal takes care of your security.

With regard to the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information EOW put in place secure, physical, electronic and procedural systems. Our security protocol demands that we may request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.

It is your responsibility to safeguard against unauthorised access to your password and computer.
Note: Always Sign Out when you finish using a shared computer.

What about third-parties and links to other sites?
Our site may include:

• links to other websites

In the event of this we do not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these particular advertisers or third-party websites.

What information am I able to access?
EOW gives you access to a diverse range of data about your account. It details your interactions with EOW for the purpose of viewing and, sometimes, updating that information. This list will change as our site develops.

What options do I have?
As outlined above, you are entitled to withhold information, even though it might be required for you to make a purchase or to enjoy the benefits on EOW such as Your Account area. You are free to update certain information on pages. When you update information, it is our policy to keep a copy of the previous version for our own records.

Note: Our notices will still govern your use of EOW, this includes all orders you may place with EOW. It is your responsibility to review them as we may update them.

Are children allowed to purchase from EOW?
EOW's policy is not to sell products for purchase by children. We do however, sell children's products for adults to buy. Under 18s, can use EOW only with involvement of a parent or guardian.
